2016 Urban Forest Project Sponsorship Opportunities

It is often said that "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." We echo this sentiment, knowing that there is no better time to support the Urban Forest Project then now! The Urban Forest Project is offering sponsorship opportunities to support our programs and initiatives. Since your company has an undeniable link with trees and green space in Grand Rapids, this is an especially meaningful way to give back and support community sustainability.

Sponsorship Levels

• Green Scene Sponsorship: A simple donation of $250 will get you a donation recognition on our website, www.urbanforestproject.com and help us host an After Work Tree Time!


• Steward of the Environment Sponsorship: A sponsorship of $500 will get your company's name and logo on our website and a sponsorship highlight on our newsletter and social media pages.


• Planting for Our Future Sponsorship: For $1,000 you can directly support a Planting for Our Future youth project and receive the above plus recognition on our GRPS sustainability updates.


• Nature Sponsorship: You can support the training of 5 Citizen Foresters for a sponsorship of $2,500 and receive the above plus recognition at the Citizen Forest trainings.


• Forest Sponsorship: A sponsorship of $5,000 is enough to support a (15 tree minimum) Street Tree or Park Planting. For this, you'll receive all of the above in addition to recognition on planting outreach materials.


• TREEmendous Sponsorship: Finally, a sponsorship of $10,000 will go to support the entire Urban Forest Project and will grant your company one of our TREEmendous sponsorship titles. For this, you'll receive all of the above recognition and in addition you will receive two free entry tickets to all UFP events.

In Kind Donation

We are always looking for In-Kind Donations to offer as giveaways, such as restaurant gift certificates, along with donations of equipment (mulch, gator bags, tree tags, pruning equipment) or other forestry gear. As an In Kind donor, we will promote your company/organization on our website and give you a shout out during events! If your donation meets or exceeds the monetary value of one of the previous sponsorship levels, benefits of that level will be granted to your organization.

Your contribution will go a long way towardshelping usto engage the entire community in reaching Grand Rapids' 40% tree canopy goal.
